Look out 2012!

Photobucket
Happy 2012 everyone!

I love the New Year! It's fresh and there is excitement in the air with New Year's Resolutions.

I can't wait.

Here is my list of resolutions for the year:

I have two stories to query. Get them out!

Clean out that closet (the scary one, with the nest of scary monsters in the corner *shivers*)

Exercise (Isn't that on everyone's list?)

Learn how to solve the Rubix cube. (Will that thing ever be tamed?)

So there is my list for 2012. If they aren't done by next year, there will be serious cookie eating going on here.

What's on your list? What do you plan with your writing? Happy New Year everyone! Whoop!

I've never been able to solve the rubik's cube. It's been a twenty five year frustration. I hope to get over my fear of querying this year, finish editing my second book, and finish my a draft of my third. And exercise.

I like your list. Simple. Clean. Reasonable. Shopping two stories at once is great (one gets rejected, send them the other right away - it lets them know you are serious)

Happy New Year! :)

My goal is to sleep in past 9 am at some point this week.

Happy New Year Carolyn. I like your goals! Cleaning out the closet can reference a lot more than a literal closet too. And that is scarey! My writing goal is to finish my teen novel, edits and all. And attend a writer's conference.

Happy New Year, Carolyn! Wishing you the best with that Rubiks cube! My kids could do it but I never could. So frustrating!

I've given up on the Rubix cube, but querying is definitely on the list--after I edit.

I hope to finish my current novel.
I hope this New year brings many wonderful things for you!

Finish my edits and bite my nails while the agents subs the MS. Be more organized. :-)

Nappy New Year!

I plan to just keep writing. To many ideas not enough years!

That dang cube! It defies my attempts to be solved. ;)

My list keeps getting longer...

Happy New Year!

I don't have any new resolutions, but I do have plenty of recycled ones. Query, exercise, write, repeat. ;)

Go you on the goals!!

My goal is... interesting. I'm making You Tube videos... for Ellen. Yup, that's my goal.

My goal for 2012 isn't big...just to finally find happiness. That's all. LOL Okay, so maybe it is big. But I have high hopes...and a ways to go. But I'm working on it.

Hoping this year is wonderful for you, sweet lady!

Love the Rubic's Cube goal. :) My dad actually keeps the solution in his pocket planner. I asked him about it once, and my mind began spinning as he told me the solution. I can't remember a word. *sigh*

Happy New Year! I love your list of resolutions, Carolyn. I may need to borrow a couple of those :)

Great resolution list. I hope you achieve them all! I'm mainly aiming to finish a couple of stories I'm working on. I'll be happy with that.

If I lived closer, I'd totally help you clean out your scary closet :D
I LIVE to organize closets.

Also - your pic just made me happy :D

That's a great list, Carolyn! Writing wise, I want to finish my novel and get two books published this year. My actual resolution is to go see some doctors about stuff I have been ignoring/living with for a while. I hate doctors. But I already got started on that one, and my numb right hand feels better already!

P.S. My hubby can solve a rubiks cube in under a minute. ;) Not me, though!

Excellent resolutions! 2 stories, huh? Way to go!

I haven't really figured out resolutions. I kind of hate them. The New Year is all nice and fresh but I find that by February, most people chuck their resolutions out the window. I try and pick one thing to improve about myself through the year and if, at the end of the year, I feel like I've gotten better, I feel better. Here's to crossing my fingers!

Congrats and best of luck!

Happy New Year, Carolyn!

I tackled some scary closets last year and gave up on the Rubix cube. Good luck to you!

I'm going to really finish my book and get it out there. That's my biggest goal for 2012.

The New Year's a great time to set those writing goals. Best wishes with your queries, hope you get many requests for material.

Good luck with that scary closet. I've got one of my own I need to do. Two, actually.

So funny! I just solved my first Rubik's cube last weekend. :) You're plans/goals for 2012 are great. Can't wait to hear how it all goes.

Oooh, the rubix cube. Nice goal. My son got one for Christmas, but I don't think he's even trying to solve it. Good luck!
