What's happening?

I'm done! Yes. I am done with school and back to blogger (I've missed you!). My last class turned out to be a little harder than I thought it would, which is why the bloggy break, but I got an A and am finished with all my homework. *happy dancing in the front room*

I'm officially getting my degree this month. I'm so glad to be done and to be able to work on writing!

My good news is that I have a request for my ms (okay, no agent yet, but this is one step in the right direction).

So what has everyone been up to this summer? Did you get those queries out, edit those wips, reading those arcs?  What's happening with everyone?   I haven't talked to you guys in so long, I can't wait to hear all your news! So spill it. What's happenin'?

In honor of graduation I present:
Ha ha ha. That cracks me up!  *wiping away tear*

YAY CAROLYN!!!

Okay -

My LDS book with Cedar Fort comes out October 8.

I signed with an agent who I ADORE. She's a newer agent, but already has a few fulls of mine with a publisher.

Ummm...
Working on a hard project right now, cause I know how it ends, and it's my first mixed ending...

Chasing kids around the yard and up the mountain on hikes...

so, yeah. That's what I've been up to!

OH HOW I HAVE MISSED YOU!!!!! So glad you're back! CONGRATULATIONS! What a great accomplishment... both the degree and the request!

I received a full request but was ultimately rejected! However it was the sweetest rejection where she insisted I send my next work, which happens to be almost completed with revisions! Talk about a win-win!!!

That's really but I've been working on while you've been away!

Thanks for coming by. I've missed your gracious self around here this summer. Congrats on all things scholarly and writerly.

WIP at 44K words. Kids still alive. (If those things are related, Someone in the Universe loves me.)

XOXO

That's awesome news on both accounts! Congrats on your degree and for your MS being requested. Brilliant!

Moir, editing, polishing chapters. It's a hard slog outside of working fulltime but getting there. I had the best business trip to Milan recently, adored the shops. Also on holiday end of next week, a cabin in the woods. Oh and my mother is visiting for the entire summer.... see now thats TMI.

Have a lovely weekend!

Hooray! That's all wonderful, Caroline. Way to go. I've been working on a new novel and waiting anxiously for my first novel to be published this fall!

Congratulations!!! What a great achievement.

Let's see, what I've been working on...turned in a YA time travel in Junes, still waiting to hear; working on another romantic suspense; and ate an entire batch of cinnamon-sugared pie crust cookies by myself. :) Life is good.
