Carrot, Eggs or Coffee Bean?

Have you heard the story of the Carrot, Eggs or Coffee Beans? If you haven't take a look. Thanks to my writing bud for sending this to me.

(If you don't drink coffee, like me, you can just imagine the coffee beans are cocoa beans with lots of sugary goodness and the richest cream in the world added...no calories of course. Yay no calories!)

Good luck with the writing everyone!

Carrots, Eggs or Coffee Beans Movie: "Carrots, Eggs or Coffee Beans. All of us at one time or another have experienced a difficult situation, had setbacks, or dealt with our share of disappointment. Most things that happen to us on a daily basis we can’t control and I can honestly say (with conviction) that it is not what happens to us that matters but rather, how we choose to respond."

What a smart grandma. =D I'd like to think I'm a coffee bean but sometimes, I feel like an egg.

I haven't heard the story, so I'm a little confused. Do I want to be a carrot--tall and thin with a leafy top? Or do I want to be eggs--runny and easily fried? I guess I could be the coffee bean--smelly and round. I just don't know.

Thanks for the great advice. I do believe it's our choices that matter.

hoping I'm a coffee bean. Sneaky suspicion I'm an egg.

...love it!
Still debating...hmm, aiming for the carrot, betting I'm an egg on most days though:)

Thanks for sharing that! Great story, analogy and beautiful to watch, too. :)

Though I have to say I also want to be a little like a carrot, too, in that I want my trials to soften me and make me more "digestible" to those around me. :)

I hadn't seen that before--thanks for sharing, Carolyn! At different points in my life, I think I've reacted in all three ways. Here's hoping I get smarter the older I get!

Have a great day, friend!!
