Beware! They aren't just for dinner anymore!

So I wanted to post something cute and thankfully-ness for Thanksgiving (because I'm thankful for a ton of stuff), but when I went looking for something to share, this is what I found:

THIS-

AND THIS!

Now I'm just frightened of those crazy turkeys!!!

Have a fantastic Thanksgiving everyone! I'm unplugged for the week...I'm hiding out from those things with a can of cranberry sauce in my hand (you know, back up). They scary me! Has anyone been attacked by a Turkey? Be honest, they are a little crazy aren't they?

Who knew turkeys could be stalkers? It will make dinner on Thursday that much more enjoyable knowing I'm doing my duty by eating a stalking turkey.

Maybe this is how it all started. People vs. turkeys.

Great videos, thanks for sharing them- I can't say I've ever been attacked by one, but you never know if they lerk around a corner.

Lol - My brother was attacked by a turkey once when he was a kid. Its head changed colors (red to blue) and then it started clawing at him รก la Revenge of the Thanksgiving Turkey!

I love my family entirely too much to ever try to inflict a self-prepared turkey dinner on them...sometimes, you just have to respect your limits.

You'll be missed, I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Before our family moved to our new home, our neighbors had turkeys. These birds were so huge and they would chase our young children around trying to peck them. Turkeys can be very persistent. They would not leave until my husband started throwing things at them. Wow, I'm not feeling so bad about Thanksgiving now.

Who knew that gluten hides in most turkeys via injections? Having a gluten free Thanksgiving is going to be a challenge. But, I am grateful that I know what I can do to feel better and I am grateful for YOU!

I loved how the UPS dude said he'd either be arrested or end up on the 6 o'clock news. All because of a turkey. =P

Never attacked thankfully! Cranberry sauce is yummy. Hopefully you don't have to waste by throwing it at a crazy turkey. Happy Thankgiving!

I chased one down in my yard once. It ran insanely fast and then flew away. I was in shock. Hope you have a wonderful week!

Yes, turkey's are some big arse birds and I wouldn't want to be in hand to hand combat with one for thanksgiving dinner:)

Those videos are so funny - thanks for the laugh. Thank you for your comment on my whiny blog post yesterday. Excited to see you tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm on hiatus next week too. The wild turkeys near us love to cross the road. We have to be careful not to make them into roadkill. Why did the turkey cross the road? To keep the drivers on their toes.

LOL Oh my that was both funny and scary! I can't handle a rogue turkey. They are quite aggressive! I remember one went for my little boy when he was in a stroller and we were walking through a hobby farm here. Have to say I've given up on Christmas turkey too in favour of a duck! ;)

Happy Thanksgiving! ;)

Freaky! I've never been attacked by a turkey, but I have had turkeys on my lawn, three or four of them at a time. I just left them alone and they waddled away.

Enjoy your unplugged time and Happy Thanksgiving!! :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! :o) I had pet turkeys as a kid and they are mean, especially the males. It's no wonder we named them "Peck" and "Flap". LOL!

Have a great week, my friend!!

LOL!

The Boston area has been having trouble with aggressive, wild turkeys chasing people around.

We have peacocks in my neighborhoodin FL. They can be pesty but not as aggressive as turkeys.

Have a great Thanksgiving and watch out for those birds:)

I haven't had any run ins with turkeys. I'm a bit scared of geese. They've chased me before in the park...
