You're too Fluffy!

I know, I know I’m too fluffy. Sometimes I post things that are so fluffy, you can get static cling from just looking at the title.

But it makes me happy. And it keeps me positive (because you writers know how hard it is in this business! I’ve never experienced anything like it before, and I used to work in an insurance office. And they were harsh...and brutal…and mean.)

So I hope you don’t mind the fluff and will keep coming back when you feel the clouds of despair coaxing you to eat yet another comfort food for relief. (Please don’t tell me I’m the only one who does this.)

On to other things. Next week, I will be here at the WIFYR conference. *extra excited laugh*
This is my most favorite conference of all time. I always feel like I can do it when I leave this conference. I will be working with the ever talented Alane Ferguson! I went to a break out class last year and she was a hoot!

So if you don’t hear from me for a while, it’s because my brain is soaking in those amazing writing tips, writing critiques and writing recommendations (plus I’ll be mingling with agents! *happy squeal*)

Question for thought. Who in the writing industry have you wanted to work with? It can anyone.

Have a great week everyone!

Hope you have a great time! I wish I could go this year, but it just didn't work out. Can't wait to hear about it. :-)

Have a great time!! And make sure your brain soaks up enough so you can come back and vomit it all over us...in a fluffy way, of course.

Have a fantastic time and make sure to take notes for all of those who are at home eating comfort food!

So funny! The picture of the fluffy dog just cracks me up! Hey, we can all use a dose of fluff now and then, and personally I find it refreshing!

Yay for the conference! What a fantastic time I'm sure you'll have!

Don't stop the fluff I love it! I work at a very boring job every day. I love it and it has it's moments where it's a ton of fun but it's also nice to climb online and find the fluff to get me through the rest of the day. It's also good when I get in a writing slump, you guys can keep me cheery!

I love the fluffy! Fluff is essential at times. . .. I don't know that I have ever thought about "working with" anyone. I did send my galleys of Miss D to a favorite regency romance writer of mine and was thrilled to death when she agreed to read it and provide a cover blurb. The blurb didn't make it to the cover before it was printed but I am told that it will be on the cover of the sequel (you'll hear me scream all the way from California if it doesn't!).

I've heard Alane speak many times. She's a great writer. So is her mother, Gloria. I enjoy fluff, because there's enough of that other stuff going around and fluff is nice. Who would I like to work with...Jane Austen, or would you like someone living, that would be...there are so many I have a hard time singling out one.

I love fluff. There's enough hardness out there. I say thanks for spreading the fluff! I've always wanted to spend time with Gayle Anderson Dagartz and Anne Tyler-both great writers with a sprinkling of quirkiness. Hope you have a great time at the conference!

Have fun at the conference - it sounds great.

Oh my God, I want that Fluffy puppy in my hands now! As for the post, everyone has fluff in their writing, even if they do a hundred edits and revisions, there is still going to be fluff...unless you're Hemingway, who went for the bare minimum of words. I love fluff, so no worries Carolyn, I will be back commenting on your blog, time and again.

As for who I would want to work with in the writing industry, Stephen King is my idol, and if I even got a chance to meet him, I can leave this world a happy person.

Awesome post and awesome picture (I still want that puppy)! Write on!

Have a great time at the conference! Maybe I'll see you at Mary Pearson's keynote, it's the only thing I'm going to. :)

Don't you dare apologize for being fluffy. I'd kill to be you. (In every way. You're gorgeous. You're funny. You're talented. Everyone loves you!)

The truth is, I wouldn't want you any other way. You're delightful and every minute I get to hang out with you is a treasured one. Be you because YOU are a pretty fabulous person to be.

I'm so sad! I planned on going to this conference until my mom got sick. We could have met in RIL. :o(

But I love your fluff--keep it coming! And in the interim, have a great time at the Young Readers conference. Take lots of notes for us!

Fluffy is the best. It's awesome. I hope the conference is everything you hoped it would be. I'd enjoy working with Lolly Winston or Tracy Chevalier.
